Hi folks –
Reminder that we’re continuing our #ClimateFriday campaign with a concerted push on Twitter from
12 pm – 1 pm ET TODAY. Sample social guidance and graphics from League of Conservation Voters attached – please join in if you can to help us keep the National Climate Assessment and the undeniable
need for climate action in the news and in folks’ newsfeeds. Feel free to adapt this language to fit your organization’s communications standards – let me know if you have any questions!
We’re hoping to continue these weekly pushes in the leadup to Andrew Wheeler’s EPA confirmation hearing as a way of highlighting his refusal to listen to climate scientists as a reason he’s unfit for the office. If you have ideas for how
to focus these pushes going forward or have resources you’d like highlighted as part of these pushes, please reach out!
Thanks,
Marcy

Subject: #ClimateFriday Twitterstorm TOMORROW 12-1 ET
Hi all –
To try to keep the focus on the dire warnings in the NCA and to continue the #ClimateFriday conversation, LCV has put together content for a Twitterstorm tomorrow from 12-1 ET. We’d love to try to push as much out during that hour with
#ClimateFriday, but of course feel free to schedule content throughout the day as your schedules allow. Of course feel free to adapt anything to fit your organization.
I’m attaching graphics and sample content, also below.
Appreciate your participation, and looking forward to a strong push on Twitter tomorrow!

Donald Trump seems to be confused about the facts on climate change. This #ClimateFriday, we dug into the #NCA4 to help set the record straight. And because of climate change, we’re
already seeing terrible impacts -- and the worst is yet to come if we don’t #ActOnClimate.
Because of climate change, the annual acreage burned by wildfires has already doubled. And if we don’t #ActOnClimate, warmer springs and longer summer dry seasons will lead to larger
and more frequent wildfires. #ClimateFriday #NCA4
