As you have likely already seen, Trump has vowed to declare a national emergency when he signs the government appropriations bill tonight or tomorrow.

ACLU, CREDO, MoveOn, ReThink Media, and Win Without War are launching a nation wide protest on Monday 2/19 at noon local time against Trump’s illegal power grab and attack on immigrant communities.

Together, this group of allies has built a network of volunteers ready to mobilize around an escalation to war or attack on our democracy. We’d like to partner with all of you to ensure a massive national day of action on Monday.

The central demand is: “Congress: Reject Trump’s Fake Crisis and Racist Deportation Force” and events will center around both the attack on our democracy and immigrant communities through the national emergency declaration to build a racist wall, but also the bill that Congress just passed expanding Trump’s deportation force.
