Thanks Nora,
There is also a great oped by IFAW’s Beth Allgood published this morning that could use some amplification if folks are looking for content.

Hi all,

Today is a big day for the North Atlantic right whale! Please help us support the recovery of this iconic species, by amplifying the following activities on your channels:

  1. SAVE Right Whales Act introduction: Reps. Moulton and Rutherford (joined by Reps. Huffman, Keating, and Posey) are dropping their bipartisan SAVE Right Whales Act, which would provide federal funding to help reduce the impacts of human activities on right whales. Please refer to this social media toolkit to amplify and thank the bill cosponsors after it goes live at 9:00 am ET.

  1. Oversight hearing on right whales: The House Subcommittee on Water, Oceans, and Wildlife is holding an oversight hearing at 10:00 am ET on “Examining the Threats to the North Atlantic Right Whale.” Please refer to this social media toolkit to amplify the hearing, support Committee members, and elevate the threat seismic testing and other human activities pose to right whales.

Without action, the North Atlantic right whale may be effectively extinct within our lifetimes. Please help us support the recovery of this iconic species, by amplifying the bill drop and hearing on your channels.

Thank you,

Nora
