Dear Colleagues,
The Outdoors Alliance for Kids and Scholastic are teaming up to encourage kids to write persuasive essays to their government officials about why the outdoors matters to them. The
All Kids Outdoors contest is for 4th-6th graders and is live now and running through April 19th. This contest is part of an ongoing campaign to elevate the voices of youth and build the next generation of environmental leaders. I hope you'll spread the word with your networks. Happy to answer any questions.
Big shout out of appreciation to the sponsors of this contest - Sierra Club, The Wilderness Society, National Park Trust, National Parks Conservation Association, NatureBridge, Seed Your Future, and the American Horticultural Society. Thank you!
Stay tuned to view the winning essays in early summer.
Best,
Jackie
