Bernhardt's first attempt as Interior Secretary to defend Trump's Dirty Budget

Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, a former oil and gas lobbyist and a literal card-carrying conflict of interest, has used his post to sell off America's National Parks to the highest bidder and gut some of the nation's landmark conservation victories at the behest of corporate special interests. His appearance in front of the Interior and Environment Subcommittee will be his first trip to Congress since his nomination, his first attempt to defend Trump’s Dirty Budget, and an important moment for the Budget and Bernhardt campaigns.
