Hi CDP folks,
Oil Change International just launched a new report this morning, alongside 15 endorsing groups (including many of you all). The report makes the case that gas is not a ‘bridge fuel’ of any kind to a clean energy future – it's a climate disaster.
Methane leakage (still extremely important!) has long been at the center of the debate over the climate impacts of gas. But this report outlines five key reasons gas cannot form a bridge to clean energy, even if all methane leakage were to be addressed immediately.
We'd love your help spreading the report. Here's the report, a Share Pack with sample graphics, a blog on its key findings, and a great early article from David Roberts:
Here are some early social media posts to share, as well as sample language to post your own:

- As the global climate crisis intensifies, it’s clearer than ever that gas is NOT a climate solution. New report from @PriceofOil shows that gas is dirty, expensive, & unnecessary. Read more on why #GasIsNotABridgeFuel: http://bit.ly/2Wotv3Z
Please let me know if you have any questions about the report or the release, and a big thanks in advance if you're able to share around!
Thanks,
Collin
