All,
Please consider
signing on to this letter focused on recommending that the House Committee on Financial Services make fundamental reforms to the Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank) as the committee consider legislation to reauthorize this important institution.
The Ex-Im Bank’s environmental impacts are now global, as its disproportionate financial support of fossil-fuel projects exacerbates the damage from climate change. As an institution that is wholly funded by the American people, the
Ex-Im Bank should comply with all U.S. laws. Unfortunately, Ex-Im Bank ignores most environmental laws in its operation, undermining environmental justice and equity around the world.
Recommended reforms of Ex-Im Bank
