Moms Clean Air Force is gearing up for our 6^th annual Play In for Climate Action on July 11^th in Washington DC. This signature event gathers hundreds of families from across the country and garners national media attention. It takes a lot of work and effort to pull off this important event and we would love your help!

 

Please let Tonya Calhoun (tcalhoun@momscleanairforce.org), copied, and myself know if you are available to help out on July 11^th. We need help from 8 am on the morning of July 11^th until approximately 12 pm. We have opportunities to help with yoga, hula hooping, puppets, social media, and much, much more!

Set-up (6 volunteers needed)

*Voter booth 1 (2 volunteers needed per shift)

JOIN US on July 11 for kids’ activities, music by Latin-GRAMMY-award-winning children’s musician, Mister G, and exciting speakers, as we deliver a public message from families across the country: it’s time to get serious about climate change!

• WHEN: Wednesday, July 11, 9:00 AM-11:00 AM
  • 9:00: Registration opens, activities begin
  • 9:00-10:00: Free play and activities
  • 10:00-10:30: Concert featuring Mister G
  • 10:30-11:00: Press conference (see below for speaker lineup)
• WHERE: The National Mall at 3rd St SW & Madison Dr NW
• WHO: Parents, Grandparents, Youth and children from across the country
• WHAT: “Play-In” featuring kids’ activities, a musical performance by Mister G, and a press conference
