Hi all,
Please consider signing on to
this letter opposing S. 1976, the “Federal Permitting Reform and Jobs Act.” This bill would permanently authorize and expand the toxic provisions found in FAST-41 (passed in 2015, but due to sunset in 2022), permanently limiting public input, environmental
review, and judicial review major infrastructure projects over $200M dollars. The scope of projects that could qualify for expedited environmental review in this bill is alarming – oil and gas pipelines, mining, highways, Corps of Engineer projects, and anything
else the permitting council believes would benefit from the abbreviated review procedures.

Attached is factsheet briefly outlining our major concerns with S.1976 – please let me know if you have any questions.
The deadline for sign-on is Tuesday, 12pm EST.
