Hi all,
The State Energy & Environmental Impact Center at NYU School of Law is looking for its next Communications Director, and I would like to encourage anyone interested to apply. The job, which I’ve held for the past year, involves promoting the work of state attorneys general as they take on the Trump administration’s environmental deregulatory agenda in court.
State AGs are playing a leading role in leading the resistance on issues that have been driving the national environmental news cycle over the past two years. These issues include the legal battle over the rollback of our national clean car standards, the future of the Clean Power Plan, offshore drilling, seismic testing, the Endangered Species Act, NEPA, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, PFAS and much more.
Given the wide scope of the issues that you will be working on, this position offers an up-and-coming communications professional an excellent opportunity to establish strong working relationships with environmental journalists and media contacts around the country, and puts you on the front lines of the fight to preserve our nation’s bedrock environmental laws and policies. A complete job description is below. Thanks!
