House Floor Activity
- The House convenes at 2 PM on Tuesday, with
the usual collection of suspension bills.
- There are two bills under a rule this week, both of which are on financial/business issues.
House Committee Activity
- On
Tuesday at 10 AM the Investigations subcommittee of Oversight is holding a field hearing on “Addressing the Lead Crisis through Innovation and Technology.” The hearing is being held in Bloomfield, NJ.

Thursday at 9 AM the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis is holding a hearing on “Cleaner, Stronger Buildings.”
- On
Thursday at 10:00 AM (or 2:22 PM, two different times are listed) the Energy subcommittee of Natural Resources is holding a hearing on “The Case for Climate Optimism: Realistic Pathways to Achieving Net-Zero Emissions.”
- On
Thursday at 2 PM the WOW subcommittee of Natural Resources is holding a legislative hearing on a pair of wildlife conservation bills.
Senate Floor Activity
- The Senate convenes at 3 PM on Tuesday, with a 5:30 PM cloture vote on the Secretary of the Air Force.
- A collection of district court judges are slotted for consideration over the course of the week.
- Last week Sen. Schumer
announced that Democrats will be forcing a vote this week on a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution formally disapproving of the EPA’s “Affordable Clean Energy” rule (ACE), it action rolling back the Clean Power Plan.
- The vote could hypothetically be as early as Tuesday, but more likely will on Wednesday or Thursday.
- Sen. Schumer further announced that there will be further CRA votes in the weeks to come.

- On
Wednesday at 10 AM the Environment & Public Works committee is holding a hearing on “Examining the Impacts of Diseases on Wildlife Conservation and Management.”
- On
Wednesday at 10 AM the Commerce, Science and Transportation committee is holding a hearing on “Feeding America: Making Sustainable Offshore Aquaculture a Reality.”

Thursday at 10 AM the Clean Air subcommittee of Environment & Public Works is holding a hearing on “Reducing Emissions While Driving Economic Growth: Industry-Led Initiatives.”

- On
Thursday at 10:30 AM the Energy & Natural Resources committee is holding a hearing on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
