If we are to eliminate legacy riders from the final budget, then we must continue asking our House champs to become more vocal in their opposition. This week these champs return to their districts for November recess, so we are asking groups to make legacy riders a part of your recess activity asks.
In preparation for the Nov 21 funding deadline, we expect a handful of Congressional leaders will negotiate the final budget deal. These leaders must hear from their House colleagues that removing legacy riders is a priority.
