The first-ever Presidential Forum on Environmental Justice will be held at South Carolina State University. The nonpartisan event will give candidates an opportunity to share their visions and policies for an equitable future. Some of our Equitable and Just Climate Platform colleagues will be present to share thoughts as well. The Equitable and Just Climate Platform is being used by National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL), a sponsor of this event, to educate and inform their members on climate policy.

Hosted by leaders from frontline and tribal communities — including civil rights, youth, and environmental organizations — the forum will offer voters an opportunity to learn how presidential hopefuls intend to manage the impacts of climate change on underserved, vulnerable communities.
