Hi all – Pls see below and attached.  This is the BLM retiree effort to draw attention to the dismantling of the BLM.  There is a social media day of action on Wednesday 12/11.  Any help amplifying would be greatly appreciated.   There are graphics that I tried to send but message was too large.  Hopefully we can send later as links.

 

Hello friends -- our Public Lands Foundation Fly-in is almost here. I wanted to share our plans and ask for your help. Our fly-in team will include Bob Abbey, Henri Bisson, Don Simpson, Mary Jo Rugwell, Ray Brady and moi. In addition to Hill meetings, here's what we have planned:

• Full page Politico ad (link to final ad in attached Word doc) and PLF Press Release -- Tuesday, Dec. 10
• House Natural Resources-hosted press conference -- Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 9 AM at HVC 201-AB in the Capitol Visitor Center with Rep. Grijalva and Haaland (not confirmed) and from PLF, Bob Abbey and Henri Bisson.
• Bob Abbey/Jim Caswell op-ed (being pitched at national level), along with op-eds from retired State Directors, being pitched to local papers in OR, CO, WY, AK, CA, AZ, and NM/OK.

Thank you to all whose logos are on the ad and to those who tried! Wednesday, Dec. 11 is our day of action -- we're asking that you join using the attached social media guidance. I'll reply to this e-mail with graphics for Twitter and FB tomorrow. I'll also forward the HNR media advisory and PLF press release when they fly.
