A somewhat active week in both chambers as we near closer to the July 4th recess.
House Floor Activity
The house will be in pro forma sessions only until this Thursday, where they'll hold vote on H.R. 7120, the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2020.
On Friday they have several more votes planned, including H.R. 51, the Washington, D.C. Admission Act.
While not announced, there are rumors the House may pass the Senate-passed Great American Outdoors Act before the July 4th recess. This is more likely to be next week, however.
House Committee Activity
The various subcommittees of the House Armed Services committee are marking up this year's National Defense Authorization Act over the course of this week.

Tuesday at 11 AM the Energy & Commerce committee is holding a hearing on "Oversight of the Trump Administration's Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic."

Thursday at 9 AM the WOW subcommittee of Natural Resources is holding a legislative hearing on a half-dozen bills.
Senate Floor Activity
The Senate convenes at 3 PM on Monday, with a 5:30 PM cloture vote on Cory Wilson for the 5th Circuit.
Sen. McConnell has said that the JUSTICE Act, Senate Republicans' police-related bill, will be brought to the floor this week. The first procedural vote is expected to be on Wednesday.

Tuesday at 10 AM the Health, Education Labor & Pensions committee is holding a hearing on "COVID-19: Lessons Learned to Prepare for the Next Pandemic."

Wednesday at 9:30 AM the Energy & Natural Resources committee is holding a hearing on "the Impact of COVID-19 on Mineral Supply Chains."
On
Wednesday at 10 AM the Agriculture committee is holding a legislative hearing on S. 3894, the Growing Climate Solutions Act of 2020.
Not seeing official public text for that bill yet; Sen. Braun's
press release back on introduction says that it "will break down barriers for those interested in participating in carbon markets so they can be rewarded for climate-smart practices."

Wednesday at 2:30 PM the Budget committee is holding a hearing on the nomination of Derek T. Kan for Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
