Dear Friends and Colleagues in the Climate Movement,

On our newest The Coolest Show podcast episode, Rev. Yearwood gets together with best selling author, professor of music, Mother of Southern Gangsta Rap from the notorious No Limit Records, and New Orleans native, Mia X. She sits down with Rev. Yearwood in honor of the 15th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina to discuss bridging cultural differences within Hip Hop, the importance of food and health, and what vulnerable communities can do now to prepare for the next Katrina

And this coming Friday on #ClimateFriday, we are welcoming U.S. Representative for Arizona's 3rd Congressional District, Raúl M. Grijalva, and U.S. Representative from Virginia's 4th Congressional District, Donald McEachin. They sit down together with Rev. Yearwood to discuss The Environmental Justice for All Act, a very important bill that they introduced earlier this year. They also express their views on the gutting of the EPA, how voting will affect our future, and developing climate resilient communities.

#ClimateFriday airs every Friday at 9am ET on WPFW in Washington, DC and on WBAI in New York. And each Friday we release The Coolest Show podcast, which has more in depth, extended content, and can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, everywhere else you may listen to podcasts, and at thecoolestshow.com
