While the use of lead-based paint and lead-free gasoline has been banned for decades, issues of lead exposure and poisoning are still prevalent specifically in Black and Latinx communities. The Shelby County Tennessee Lead Prevention & Sustainability Commission presents: The Road to a #LeadFreeShelby: Strategies for Centering Children’s Environmental Health featuring both local and national experts, politicians and more sharing their perspectives on how we can achieve #LeadFreeCommunities.
