All hands on deck. Our ability to protect the environment, climate, and social justice rests on our democracy’s health. We must guarantee a fair election by counting every vote. We know that for democracy to work, it must include all of us. That means we have to make sure voters, and not Donald Trump, pick the next President.
Any politician can say whatever they want, but it is the will of the voters that matters. Every eligible voter must have their voice heard and vote counted because voting is our most fundamental constitutional right. It's the election officials’ responsibility to count every eligible vote.
By uniting across our differences to support this mission, we must stand together against any attempt to ignore the people’s will, throw out the election results, or destabilize our democracy.
Remember, our role is to:
- Connect the dots for our supporters and fill our lane in the broader democracy-protection movement
- Set expectations and provide trusted information to minimize uncertainty and disinformation
- Give agency and empower our supporters and staff
