Subject: [esa] Sign on: Letter to Pelosi to include Preventing Future Pandemics Act in end of year legislation
Hi folks,
Please consider signing your organization onto this letter urging Speaker Pelosi to include H.R. 8433, the Preventing Future Pandemics Act, in the next COVID-19 relief bill or in any end-of-year must-pass legislation, including the FY21
approps package or the NDAA. This bicameral, bipartisan bill takes the most important first step towards resetting our relationship with the natural world and its wildlife in order to protect public health, our economy, and our natural resources. It would
enable the U.S. government to establish a unified response to this pandemic, and would also provide cogent global leadership in preventing future pandemics from occurring altogether.
Here is the link to sign on:
https://forms.gle/7dH71ep93ohW3DNK6. The deadline is COB Friday, November 20th.
Thanks in advance,
