Please join us at 3pm eastern on Tuesday, January 12th for a presentation and Q & A with Sally Ericsson, former associate director within Obama's Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Council on Environmental Quality, among other prominent roles (bio below). This presentation is intended to better prepare you for the upcoming budget and approps process.
She will outline the mission and structure of OMB and CEQ and their coordination with agencies and the White House. Her presentation will focus primarily on budget formulation and oversight, the roles of different staff and their interactions, and provide insight on effective lobbying that can inform our advocacy for the next four years on funding for climate, conservation, and environmental and public health protections.
