This morning Dr. Miriam Goldstein of Center for American Progress, Anne Merwin of the Ocean Conservancy, and Jean Flemma of Ocean Defense Initiative published “An Ocean and Climate Agenda for the New Administration,” featuring 20 actions in the Administration’s first 100 days to recommit to climate leadership; reduce emissions and improve climate resilience; decrease pollution; increase fuel efficiency; and protect marine life and the national ocean economy. Actions include rejoining the Paris agreement; limiting offshore oil and gas drilling; and protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030.
