The IPCC report reminds us of what’s at stake, and of the need for bold climate action as the impacts of extreme weather continue to decimate communities across our nation. The climate crisis is making wildfires burn faster, longer, hotter: today, the Dixie Fire has just become California’s largest fire ever. See this sharable animated graphic on the Dixie Fire. 

The good news remains: Biden’s Build Back Better plan is popular, especially when folks hear about the climate provisions. In collaboration with LCV and Climate Power, Hart Research just released a new survey indicating that action on climate and clean energy is highly important, and specifically this plan’s climate, clean energy, and environmental justice components have strong support.
