Tomorrow at 10 AM EST  the Environment subcommittee of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology is holding a hearing titled “Federal Climate Adaptation & Resilience for the 21st Century." Witnesses from NOAA, DOE, NASA, and GAO will testify. The Federal Government’s vulnerability to the impacts of climate change, and the status of ongoing efforts to promote greater climate adaptation and resilience throughout will be evaluated during the hearing. The hearing will also cover climate challenges confronting NASA, DOE, NOAA, adaptation and resilience strategies, and potential opportunities to bolster Federal climate adaptation tools.

Please use this opportunity and the toolkit attached to highlight the need for: 

  • Congress to pass the climate, energy, and justice provisions of the Build Back Better Act

  • The Administration to prioritize climate & justice as the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act is implemented

  • The Administration to develop and implement a comprehensive ocean climate action plan
