I hope you’re doing well during this hectic lame duck session! In response to the midterms and ongoing efforts to protect a free and equitable democracy that’s necessary to combat the climate crisis, LCV is hosting a Twitter Q&A today at 12pm noon ET featuring members of Congress who are leading the charge to protect and safeguard a strong democracy. We’ll be focusing particularly on the threats and challenges to voting rights during the election, Congressional consideration of the Electoral Count Reform Act, building public awareness of the Moore v. Harper and Merrill v. Milligan Supreme Court cases, the push for pro-environment and pro-democracy judicial nominations, and what Congress needs to do to safeguard our democracy.
