Hello friends of LCV!
Happy Friday. Ahead of the weekend, I wanted to share with you all that
LCV’s latest National Environmental Scorecard will be released next Tuesday, February 28.
LCV’s Scorecard has been the primary yardstick for evaluating the environmental records of members of Congress since 1970. The new 2022
Scorecard looks back at the second session of the 117th Congress, the best year ever for climate action. We hope that LCV scores continue to be a helpful accountability tool as we all work to advance affordable, just clean energy policies
and correct the record when members with failing LCV scores purport to care about the climate crisis.
We would greatly appreciate your amplification of the new
Scorecard any time after 1pm ET on Tuesday, 2/28! I have pasted some sample social guidance below and will share the new scorecard on this thread when it’s live on Tuesday. Thanks for considering working this into your content calendars next
week.
