Once again, the Senate is planning to vote on two anti-wildlife CRA resolutions as soon as this week. S.J. Res. 24 would prevent the uplisting of the northern long-eared bat from threatened to endangered, and S.J. Res. 23 would nullify
the Biden administration’s final rule rescinding the regulatory definition of “habitat” under the Act and restore the pro-polluter Trump-era regulation that severely curtailed when lands or waters could be designated as “critical habitat” for imperiled species.
