The Climate Reality Project has prepared a sign-on letter (attached) urging President Biden to attend the UN Secretary General’s Climate Ambition Summit. We understand that the UN recently sent an invitation directly to the White House.

 

Secretary-General Guterres has proposed an Acceleration Agenda that outlines several areas in which enhanced ambition is needed, and we therefore also include a call for such enhanced ambition from the United States

 

Organizational sign-ons will be accepted until 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 21.
