the usual collection of suspension bills.

Speaker Johnson's attempt to blitz through the remaining appropriations bills continues this week, though the effort
is already faltering.

The Transportation, Housing & Urban Development bill intended for last week has been punted to this week in the
face of east coast Republican concerns over funding cuts to Amtrak - rules has already lined up amendments for this one.

The Rules committee meets on Monday afternoon to go over the amendments for the Financial Services & General Government
bill, which should also be up this week.

"Additional legislative Items are possible" - there are plenty of active issues, though given recent news the most
likely may be Johnson's initial attempt at a CR.

It looks like CJS is currently being pushed back to next week with Labor-HHS, though given the hurried approach
to all this things may well shift.
