Today Gas Leaks released a pair of videos and blog on the threat of transporting liquified gas by rail, which risks derailments and deadly explosions. Community advocates recently scored a significant win in the fight against a proposal to ship gas by rail through dozens of rail communities to a proposed export facility in Gibbstown, New Jersey. But this and similar projects could still move forward unless the Biden Administration passes updated rules that protect communities from the dangers of LNG-by-rail.
