Please join us in a sign-on letter to oppose an egregious attempt by House Natural Resources Chair Bruce Westerman to rescind $700 million from the Inflation Reduction Act's $2.6 billion for coastal resilience at NOAA as part of H.R. 7408, “America’s Wildlife Habitat Conservation Act."

These funds are so critically needed that NOAA's most recent request for proposals generated 869 letters of intent requesting approximately $16 billion in funding. It is clear that ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes communities across the nation urgently need this funding and they are ready to implement it now. Don't let Rep. Westerman take it away!
