From June 18, 2024 through June 24, 2024, VineSight found the following activity that contained misinformation or negative narratives related to clean energy:

X: 15M+ people were exposed to this content (5% increase)
Facebook: The content had 50,000+ engagements (volume the same as last week)
TikTok: The content had 8,000+ views (85% decrease)
Telegram: The content had 500,000+ views (volume the same as last week)
Truth Social: The content had 1,000+ retruths (50% decrease)
Gab: The content had 500+ reposts (volume the same as last week)

Approximately 60% of the people exposed to misinformation or toxic narratives related to clean energy on 𝕏 were exposed to one of the following themes:

Climate Change Is A Hoax
Solar And Wind Energy Are Expensive And Unreliable
Electric Car Company, Fisker, Files For Bankruptcy

These narratives were also the focus of 60% of the Facebook engagements, 50% of the TikTok views, 50% of Telegram views, 30% of Truth Social retruths, and 40% of Gab reposts identified in our tracking.
