Mobile’s ‘Lightning McClean’ electric garbage truck struggles to deliver — “The city bought an electric garbage truck in 2022 as part of an effort to go green, with expectations of saving thousands of dollars a year in gas. Later dubbed Lightning McClean after a contest that invited the public to vote, the vehicle was the first electric garbage truck in the fleet. Walmart first major retailer in North America to deploy hydrogen semi truck — “Walmart Canada continues its march towards a 100% alternative fuel fleet with the deployment of its first hydrogen fuel cell-powered Nikola Tre. Martin Brower expands electric fleet for McDonald’s deliveries in Canada — “Martin Brower, a prominent supply chain solutions provider for global restaurant chains, is enhancing its fleet with 10 additional VNR Electric vehicles from Volvo Trucks North America. These electric trucks will support food and beverage deliveries to select McDonald’s restaurants in the Greater Montreal and Toronto areas.
