Subject: Sign on: Oppose the House Interior appropriations bill

Good morning,

Please consider signing the community letter opposing the House's Interior-Environment appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25).

The House Appropriations Committee is scheduled to consider the Interior-Environment funding bill on July 9th. The draft bill would sharply cut funding for environmental agencies, including a 20% reduction to the Environmental Protection Agency's budget. It also includes numerous anti-environmental policy riders, advancing extreme and damaging policy provisions that would harm our health, lands, wildlife, air, water, and oceans.

This letter is open to all groups. Questions can be directed to Bart Johnsen-Harris at the Trust for Public Land (bart.johnsen-harris@tpl.org) and David Shadburn at the League of Conservation Voters (dshadburn@lcv.org).

The deadline to sign on is noon EDT on Monday, July 8, 2024. Please note that we will be sending the letter promptly that same day, so there will not be an opportunity to extend or to incorporate late signers.

Best,
Bart & David
