Please join Washington Governor Jay Inslee, climate leaders, and Evergreen Action this Thursday, August 1 at 1 p.m. for a webinar celebrating the launch of Evergreen Action Plan 2.0, an ambitious, actionable new policy agenda that lays out the path forward for the next president to build on the historic achievements of the Biden-Harris administration and secure a safer, healthier, and fairer future for all Americans. The event will take place on Zoom on Thursday, August 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
This week, Evergreen will release Evergreen Action Plan 2.0: The Promise of Continued Climate Leadership. A follow-up to the original Evergreen Action Plan, which helped set the agenda for the most impactful administration tackling the climate crisis in U.S. history. The new action plan maps out the next phase of policy to avoid the worst of the climate crisis while seizing opportunities to lower costs, create jobs, and advance justice in the clean energy economy.
Over a hundred partners across the climate, environmental justice, and labor movements helped us build this plan, and I’m honored that some of them will be joining for the launch. This event will feature Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Evergreen Executive Director Lena Moffitt, Evergreen Vice President Craig Segall, Energy Innovation CEO Sonia Aggarwal, White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council Member Jade Begay, and AFL-CIO Environmental Justice Coordinator Bennetta Robinson.
