Hi All,

I hope everyone's hanging in there. There's a lot to process right now and I hope you're giving yourself the time you need to do so.

With three months left of the strongest climate President in U.S. history, there is a lot we can get done to prepare and protect against the next administration. Today, Evergreen released a three-point memo laying out the most impactful actions President Biden can take to cement his climate legacy during his remaining time in office.

The memo urges the Biden administration to take as many protective actions as it can in the lame duck, and to clear away as many tools as possible that the Trump administration could use to undo them. Some of the memo’s key recommendations include finalizing the DOE studies detailing the impact of LNG export terminals (laying the groundwork that they are not in the public interest), approving California’s vehicle emissions standards waiver, and getting as much IRA money out the door as possible. You may have seen the memo in Politico’s Morning Energy earlier today.

Of course, this will be an uphill battle, but there is still so much we can do. You can read more about Evergreen's proposed next steps for the lame duck session here

Thank you for all your incredible hard work leading up to this moment. Grateful to be in this fight with you all.
