#DirtyBudget Fight | Social Media Day of Action
One day left until a possible government shutdown!

Congress has ONE DAY to avoid a government shutdown by midnight tomorrow -- Fri, Jan 19. As negotiations persist and the situation develops we must continue communicating the need for a Continuing Resolution [and final budget deal] that is free from anti-environmental [aka poison pill] riders, budget cuts to essential programs like the EPA and DOI; and unbalanced funding for military in relation to essential community needs. We also need to be an ally to our friends in the DACA fight.
As a reminder, our intent is to help prepare your social media calendar [and demands] by allocating specific days [Tues and Thurs] to this campaign. We provide the guidance, you tailor it to fit your needs. The more participation, the better. Ideally, we are asking for at least 2 tweets and 1 Facebook post from each of your respective organizations [on each day of action].
