Hi folks – A reminder about the Continental Divide Exhibit in the Senate and events this week. Invitations to the Reception and House and Senate briefings are attached again and
links below as well. Please share with your contacts on the Hill and others. In particular, we are hoping that folks will attend the reception. Senator Heinrich and Rep. O’Rourke are going to be at the reception right around 5 so we are asking folks to get

Subject: SAVE THE DATE: Continental Divide Border Exhibit and Events on Hill Next Week
As many folks know, a number of our groups have been working to support the exhibition of the Continental Divide Border Photography Exhibit in the Senate next week along with several
related events. The Continental Divide Exhibit shows the impacts of border wall construction on the people, lands and wildlife along the SW border.
The exhibit will be on display in the Senate Russell Bldg Rotunda all next week, 6/11 to 6/15.
There will be a reception and program Tuesday evening 6/12 5-7 PM in 385 Senate Russell Bldg hosted by Senator Heinrich which will also be attended by Reps. Grijalva, Vela and
possibly O’Rourke. It would be great if organizations can help ensure a good turnout for the reception.
There will be a briefing Tuesday morning 6/12 at from 11 AM-12 noon in 406 Senate Dirksen Bldg hosted by Senator Carper.
We are finalizing the invitations for both and we will send when we have the final versions. We have been awaiting approval from the Hill offices. We may also have a House briefing
– Hill staff are working to find a room. The groups are bringing in people from the SW border who will speak about the impacts of the border wall and militarization.
