This week marks one-month out from Sept 8 -- the next Peoples Climate Movement's day of action: Rise for Climate, Jobs, & Justice (background info below).
So on Wednesday, Aug 8, there's a big push to get the word out & create some buzz. Here's a bunch of great Sample Content for August 8 (sample social media, graphics, and email template) -- but I also attached some unbranded graphics and pasted some sample tweets below, too.
On social, use #RiseforClimate, and if you're telling a specific reason/story of why you/your org is rising for action, use #WhyWeRise, too! We're also having a Twitterstorm at 3pm ET on Wednesday. Hope you can participate!
We’re officially ONE MONTH away from Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice on September 8th. Find an event in your area, and pledge to act today:

Background:
Building off of the broad coalition for climate justice built by the Peoples Climate Movement over the last several years, in about 1 month, on September 8, there is another day of action called Rise for Climate, Jobs & Justice.
Instead of focusing on major mobilization as in the NYC march in 2014 or DC in 2017, an emphasis will be more on actions / events in local communities demanding action from local leaders. See the map of events being planned and more on https://peoplesclimate.org/rise and riseforclimate.org (the global site). If there's an event near you, consider reaching out to event organizers to help. If there isn't an event near you, consider hosting an event yourself!
However, in advance of the Global Climate Action Summit in California, there will be a signature march in San Francisco on Sept 8. Much of California will be focusing on turning out to the Bay Area for this. More info at https://ca.riseforclimate.org/

Let me know if you have any questions!
