**Livestream available here. Photos will be available to media following the action**WHY: Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline threatens Minnesota’s land, clean water, and manoomin (wild rice) beds. The project has been permitted against the desires of four Tribal governments, and would be a disaster for our climate. Last month, the MN Public Utilities Commission approved the pipeline, ignoring the recommendations of the MN Department of Commerce, Office of Administrative Hearings, Pollutions Control Agency, and Department of Natural Resources and siding with a foreign pipeline company. The approved route would cross through critical ecological and cultural resources. Governor Dayton has so far failed to take action, but he can still act to stop this pipeline.
