Hi All,

A coalition of 14 States led by NY AG Barbara Underwood sent a letter to congressional leadership in both houses asking for congress to pass EPA funding with no cuts and demanding that there are no anti-environment riders in the final legislation. You can see the letter here:

#DirtyBudget | Energy and Water Minibus Vote Expected
Please issue a statement and amplify on social media

Last night the Senate overwhelmingly approved the FY19 Energy-Water spending package. Today, we expect the House to also pass this spending bill.

The package is clear of poison pill riders and budget cuts that would make kids’ sick, poison our drinking water, and threaten the outdoors. This victory increases the chances that conferees for the upcoming Interior-Environment minibus will also reject anti-environmental policies and harmful budget cuts.

Our congressional targets must continue fighting the Trump Dirty Budget and standing up for kids’ health and the outdoors.

Please issue a statement, post it on the CDP listserve and amplify on social media.

Thanks for playing.
