Hi Everyone,

The U.S. Forest Service recently proposed amending its 2015 land-use management plans governing national forests and grasslands in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and Idaho. Along with its proposal, the Forest Service released a draft environmental impact statement (EIS). Their proposed plans would ultimately cause significant harm to the habitat managed by the Forest Service and would be a slap in the face to hundreds of thousands of Westerners and Western stakeholders who engaged in a years-long, collaborative effort to put effective plans together in the first place.

The Forest Service opened a 90-day public comment period on their proposed changes that closes on January 3, 2019 and we need your help to drive comments to the Forest Service during this comment period.

We've put together a toolkit that includes:

Please consider using these resource to mobilize your members to take action and tell the Forest Service not to make changes to the plans.

Let me know if you have any questions and thank you in advance for engaging on this important fight!

Lauren
