Attached for group sign-on is a letter thanking Reps. Huffman, Grijalva and Lowenthal and other members of the House Natural Resources Committee for their leadership at the recent markup of H.R. 1146, the bill to restore protections to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Given the 2017 tax bill mandate, H.R. 1146 is not simply important; it is essential to preserving the Arctic Refuge-its native people, irreplaceable public lands and wildlife, and fragile climate-for future generations. The letter thanks the HNR members for their continued perseverance in this fight, and reiterates that the environmental community is dedicated to seeing this bill through the finish line.
