Hi all,

Attached for group sign-on is a letter supporting Rep. Huffman's amendment 90<https://amendments-rules.house.gov/amendments/HUFFCA_034_xml66191542194219.pdf> to the Energy and Water omnibus appropriations bill (#63 to H.R. 2740), which would prohibit the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from finalizing a recklessly and fatally flawed environmental impact statement for the Pebble Mine- the disastrous gold and copper mine proposed in Bristol Bay, Alaska.

Bristol Bay is an American treasure, home to the world's greatest wild salmon fishery that generates $1.5 billion annually, fuels Alaska's economy, supports 14,000 jobs, and feeds indigenous communities. The proposed Pebble Mine, a massive, open-pit gold and copper mine which would be located at the headwaters of the Bristol Bay watershed, threatens the entire region-its people, water, fisheries, and wildlife. We hope you'll join us in opposing Pebble Mine, by signing onto the attached letter in support of Huffman's amendment.

Thank you,
Nora
