The Trump administration just finalized<https://www.fws.gov/endangered/improving_ESA/regulation-revisions.html> regulations to eviscerate the Endangered Species Act. Best described as the "Trump Extinction Plan," these regulations gut protections for our nation's most imperiled wildlife at a time of catastrophic species loss.
