I'm reaching out to share two new resources from BGA to support implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act, with a focus on public buildings and non-profit entities.

First, our Roadmap to Navigating Federal Funding for Public Buildings<https://www.bluegreenalliance.org/resources/roadmap-to-navigating-federal-funding-for-public-buildings/> is intended to support state and local agencies and other stakeholders interested in upgrading Municipal, University, School and Hospital (MUSH) buildings using federal funding opportunities from BIL and IRA. This highlights programs from Treasury, DOE, EPA and FEMA and includes quick facts summary tables of each.

Second, we published Making Clean Energy Tax Credits Deliver for the Public: A User Guide for Governments, Schools, and NonProfits<https://www.bluegreenalliance.org/resources/making-clean-energy-tax-credits-deliver-for-the-public-a-user-guide-for-governments-schools-and-nonprofits/>, which shows how these entities can take advantage of the clean energy tax credits using Direct Pay, which allows for entities historically not eligible for the tax credits, like public schools, hospitals, and local governments, to fund projects like solar; EV charging; clean school bus, transit bus and other clean fleet purchasing; geothermal or heat pumps; battery storage; and more.

Both the building's roadmap and the direct pay user guide include examples of how to stack funding, a few retrofit case studies, and tools for identifying disadvantaged communities.
